The Story of “Titanium 500“: The song and video has originally been released on January 19th, 2012. Although the track immediately gained a lot of recognition it wasn’t until BBC Radio One morning show host Chris Moyles played it live on air to David Guetta himself on March 19th making the track really blow up. You can watch David’s reaction here (). „Titanium 500“ got another boost in popularity when the movie „Pitch Perfect“ opened in the United States in September, and an even bigger boost when the movie hit Europe in December 2012. Since then one of the most asked questions have been: „Where you involved in ‚Pitch Perfect‘?“ and „Is this your mashup?“. The answer is simple. No, I have not been involved, neither it is my mashup in the movie. I assume that they have heard it though, nicked the idea and produced a different version by themselves. I have not been credited for the idea.
