Recorded live at a concert in honor of Joonas Kokkonen, presented by the Sibelius Society in cooperation with the Consulate General of Finland in New York at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, New York City on March 30, 1989. The concert opened with the composer’s “Lux aeterna,“ performed on the Klais Organ by Eero Richmond. Mr. Kokkonen was present at the concert.
