Капский воробьиный сычик/African Barred Owl l Birds of the Bush

EcoTraining brings you another episode in our Birds of the Bush series. In this month’s episode, we join EcoTraining Freelance Instructor JP Le Roux as he shares some interesting facts about the African Barred Owl, his favorite owl. The African Barred owl is one of the three smallest owl species and is very well camouflaged. A smallish brown owl with bars and spots on the underparts and fine bars on the upperparts, including the top of his head. They are often active and vocal during the day. Please leave us a comment below and tell us if there is a specific bird or owl you would like to learn more about, we’d love to hear from you! EcoTraining is also offering an Online Birding Enthusiast Course. Those interested are welcome to read more about this course here: OR Shop online: Follow the EcoTrain
