Harvesting Pine Needles

While I was visiting friends in Florida we experienced a hurricane which gave me the opportunity to harvest some Long Leaf Florida Pine needles for basket making. I show that process and talk about how I care for the needles. This video also contains some of the damage from the storm. When I dye pine needles I usually use Rit Dyes.
