Gray-faced buzzard is also called as butastur indicus with body length about 50 cm. Its body is brown except for the part from its head to back neck, which is sorrel. Such bird typically perches in the forest zone at an altitude below 900 m. It has sharp eyes with vision acuity that is 2 or 3 times higher than that of human eyes, perfect for searching preys on the edge of a forest.
