On January 9, 2024. Hop-A-Jet flight HPJ823, a Bombardier Challenger 604, was destroyed in a forced landing on the I-75 at mile marker 107, 5km northeast of Naples Airport (APF/KAPF), Naples, Florida. Two of the five occupants aircraft was on approach to Naples Airport (APF/KAPF), Florida, when the crew radioed that they had lost both engines and were not able to make it to the runway. The aircraft struck a truck during the landing and burst into flames as it came to rest against a concrete wall at the side of the southbound lanes.
