Tandemcart and curricle at Van der Wiel harness makers, 4 nov 2017

At the always very impressive Open House at Van der Wiel harnessmakers in Achel, Belgium, they had put up tow beautiful complete turnouts for display. A perfect skeleton tandem cart, with two horses in front of each other and a very well made curricle with two horses as a pair. In a curricle hitch, the carriage is carried by the horses on the saddles with the use of a iron crossbar.
