Psychick Warriors Ov Gaia - Mixing ’Patience’ for the E.P. Obsidian

Visiting the PWOG studio, Tilburg, Netherlands 9/1992 ahead of their “Obsidian“ EP-release. The first part is a night-sequence in which the tracks sound scape evolves while Reinhoud van den Broek aka. Bobby Reinier explains the meaning of the sample “Munjareh“ (Resistance) in African tradition. The second part was filmed the next morning and includes a conversation on themes such as drugs, party, trance and the evolution of house music ... while the final mix-version of the 12inch main track Obsidian began to crystallize. In autumn 1992 Robbert Heynen was about to leave the band collective to put more focus on his project “Exquisite Corpse“, while those present in this film sequence - Reinier Brekelmans, Reinoud van den Broek and Tim Freeman (with Boris Hiesserer) - continued constructing the typical sound of the Psychick Warriors Ov Gaia.
