HMS Ocelot was the last submarine to be built in Chatham Dockyard for the Royal Navy launched in May 1962 from No. 7 Slip. The standard complement was 68 made up from six officers and sixty two sailors. Ocelot was laid down on 17 November 1960, and launched on 5 May 1962. The boat was commissioned into the Royal Navy on 31 January 1964.
