Bio By She Rox All Female Bands: It’s no secret that even the people of France themselves have said their country is far from being a birth place for a rock and roll band, however the women of the Plastiscines found their inspiration to rock regardless and began in 2004 while still in school. Finding that french radio frowned upon broadcasting English songs,the band found this a major restraint since they wanted to sing in English as well and released their debut in 2006, with a thriving music scene that was catching up with the times, by 2007 the band was gaining international attention and were spotted on the cover of a French fashion magazine and quickly signed to Nylon Records and released the critically successful album in 2009, “About Love“, it’s catchy pop rock with indie rock overtones were propelled by the single, , which the band performed in an episode of the U.S television show, Gossip Girl, which to say the least opened the doors to not only the U.S. market but to a U.S. fan base as wel
