Boy Meets Girl - Oh Girl (1985)

Boy Meets Girl is the musical pairing of George Merrill and Shannon Rubicam. “Oh Girl“ was the single released from their self-titled debut album in 1985. Later they would achieve their biggest success with “Waiting For A Star To Fall“. The video for “Oh Girl“ nicely captures the essence of the mid-80s lifestyle and pop culture with its clothing, hairstyles, smoking prevalence, and party setting. The song is an excellent representation of the musical style of the group at that time, and reached #39 on the Billboard charts in 1985.
