Ramana Castle Azerbaijan Baku
Ramana Fortress - a fortress of the XIV century (according to the diapers, the 16th century), located in the Ramana settlement (kend ramana) of Baku . The height of the rectangular central tower in the middle of the castle yard is 15 meters. The tower has four floors. The floors of the 2nd and 3rd floors were made of wood. The floors are connected by a winding staircase. There are jokes on the walls. The tower and exterior walls are completed with mashikuls. The exact time of the construction of the white stone fortress is unknown. According to the construction techniques and plan features, the castle is believed to have been built in the middle of the 14th century. It was probably built for defensive purposes and was used as a castle during the Shirvanshah state .
There are two stairs on the left side of the wall to climb the castle walls . With one of them, it is possible to climb up the inside of the wall, about half a meter outside, through a twisted stone staircase to
