Uthan, Benaresi Theka, Baant - all unique to Benaresi Tabla and especially in the early stage of Benaresi Tabla solo’s. Pandit ji is the living descendent and 6th generation of Benaresi Tabla players, hailing directly from Pandit Ram Sahai ji, the founder of the Benares style of Tabla playing. Pandit ji has been an international performer for over 30 years and is considered to be one of the greatest Tabla players alive today.
