This is a rare-ish song sung by Zhang Zhefu, also famous for his rendition of the Chinese song “Sailing the Seas Depends on the Helmsman.“ The first lines to this song come from the opening address by Mao Zedong at the First Session of the First National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China.
