PM Rishi Sunak travels to Kyiv to announce increased funding for Ukraine

PRIME Minister Rishi Sunak has travelled to Kyiv by train to announce increased military funding for Ukraine. The PM has travelled to Kyiv to announce an increase in funding to help Ukraine purchase new military drones, surveillance, long-range strike and sea drones. Sunak said Britain would increase its support in the next financial year to 2.5 billion pounds, an increase of 200 million pounds on the previous two years. Rishi Sunak travelled to Ukraine’s capital via train, meeting for talks with Vice Chief of Defence Staff, Gwyn Jenkins during the journey to the Ukrainian city.
