When strawberries are in season, you’ll want to blend up a batch of Strawberry Lemon Crush for you next gathering. Easy to make and requires just a handful of ingredients. Fruity, flavorful, and fun in every sip!
STRAWBERRY LEMON CRUSH
SERVES 4
1 cup fresh lemon juice
1 cup water
1/4 cup superfine sugar
1 1/2 cups stemmed and halved fresh strawberries
1/2 cup lemon vodka or unflavored sparkling water
Crushed ice
Fresh mint sprigs, garnish
In a 2-cup measuring cup, combine the lemon juice, water, and sugar and stir to dissolve the sugar.
In a blender, combine lemon juice mixture and strawberries. Puree on high speed until smooth. Add vodka or sparkling water and pulse to incorporate. Taste and add more sugar if desired, and pulse to incorporate.
Fill 4 glasses with crushed ice. Pour strawberry crush over the ice and garnish with mint sprigs. Serve immediately.
