2012 CRHS Girls Soccer, Game 9 vs. Kelso HS, 1st half

vs Kelso, 1-1. 0-1 at halftime. 1st half goals: none, goalie stops by Haley Case: 3. In a game with some questionable calls, and against a very good opponent, the Chieftains suffered having a couple of possible goals denied by the officials, such as Marion Lilly’s very nice score at 9:00, denied. With the only score against CR being another PK (18:05), the defense played typically terrific, as did the River offense, playing without two of its top scorers, Easton Kawawaki and Maddie Reynolds.
