I never had anxiety as a if I did, I sure didn’t know it at the time. I kept myself busy getting in trouble and testing the boundaries. And I’ve always secretly wondered why that brought me so much joy. I used to think I must just have a hyperactive imagination that needs that extra bit of attention.  A cure for boredom, perhaps? Now I don’t know if I’ve developed anxiety with growing pains or if that hyperactive imagination of mine was simply anxiety all I can tell you I’m certainly no stranger to the devil on my shoulder. He’s not always kind, but he sure does keep me entertained. When we sat down to write DOMS, we had a certain experience in mind, but as the song progressed, so much more meaning came out of it for me. I began asking the questions - why I am the way that I am, who the f am I, why do I do the things that I do, oh no what have I done?! Let’s do it again, no! SHIT!….and so on and so forth. Those voices in my head once again taking over. We all deal with anxiety and depression in our own ways, and I think all those voices in our heads have their own unique perspectives. Mine just happens to be a cheeky little shit that gets me into trouble sometimes. But I’m dealing with him. And sometimes, we even get along a little. I wrote this song with two of my most talented friends Chris Greatti @chrisgreatti and Zakk Cervini @zakkcervini last year. We wanted to make the ultimate extreme, hyper rock&roll tune - to match the characteristics of my little devil. At first we didn’t even know if it would make the record, and now here it is - the first song off the bloody thing!!!
