Rebecca Yurivna - Attack Release 21st Feb 2023 - live electronic performance - KORG littleBits

Rebecca Yurivna is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, synthesist and producer. While a graduate student in NYU’s Music Technology program, she studied with Morton Subotnick (Silver Apples of the Moon), Saul Walker (API), and wrote her master’s thesis on the preservation of 19th Century wax cylinder records. At 25 she joined the NYU faculty as adjunct professor and taught courses in audio preservation, MIDI, foundations of music technology, and organised outreach programs for middle and high school girls to learn about audio engineering. Rebecca went on to work for littleBits Electronics where she specialised in their KORG littleBits Synth Kit, building custom kits for artists and record labels, and using them in her live performances and recordings. Rebecca lives in New York where she runs a boutique recording and production studio, The Vault.  This performance was recorded live at Attack Release, Bloc Glasgow 21st Feb 2023.
