Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope (FAST)

The main body of the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope (FAST), which is the world’s largest radio telescope under construction, is nearing completion. The FAST, which is 138 meters tall, has been built for more than 20 years. It’s located at Pingtang county in southwest China’s Guizhou Province, utilizing the local natural Karst landscape as the astronomical site.
