Metallica Halftime Show [OFFICIAL] | AUMB 2023

The 2023 AUMB’s Metallica Halftime show, performed at the Auburn vs Ole Miss football game on October 21, 2023 in Jordan-Hare Stadium, Auburn, AL. Our show opens with For Whom the Bell Tolls, one of Metallica’s greatest hits and the official title of their marching band video competition. Our initial sound effects and the swinging-bell animation drill that follows are our attempt to recreate the opening of Metallica’s 2022 concert in São Paulo, Brazil. The show continues with their 1992 tour anthem, Wherever I May Roam. The middle segment of our show pays homage to Metallica’s legendary guitar skills with the title track from their 1986 album, Master of Puppets. Our show continues with one of Metallica’s most popular power ballads, Nothing Else Matters. And, of course, no Metallica tribute is complete without Enter Sandman.
