Icelandic Weather #7 - Global Warming in Iceland is Actually Very Cool

Click on CC for description with subtitles but it’s a recording from Dec 11th 2019 in Akureyri, Northern Iceland during the worst storm in Iceland since 2012. This is however not the worst part of the storm since Akureyri is deep in a fjord called Eyjafjörður or around 40km from the coastline facing the Arctic and the cold and snowy northern winds. So towns like Ólafsfjörður, Siglufjörður and Húsavík got hit way stronger and suffered from broken power lines causing blackout. Here is a nice sample from the
