Sarolta Zalatnay - Sarolta Zalatnay For the first time Sharolta Zalatnai appeared on the scene in 1963. The first ensemble in which she performed was “Scampolo“. Sharolta was brought to the group by her school friend Laszlo Komar. From 1965 to 1966 she was a soloist of the famous Hungarian rock band Bergendy. In 1966 she took the second place in the Táncdalfesztivál television competition with the song Hol jár az eszem? (“Where do my thoughts go?”) The following year, she won this competition by performing the song Nem várok holnapig (“I won’t wait for tomorrow”) together with the Hungarian rock band Omega. In 1968–1969, she lived for some time in Paris and London, where she met members of the Bee Gees group. She performed with them, as well as with other famous musicians - for example, Eric Clapton, Lionel Richie, the Beach Boys group.
