In this video we shoot a portrait using a very simple lighting set-up. The key learning to take from this tutorial is the application and varying results of different soft box accessories.
We want to see what different grids and diffusers will do to studio portrait shots of our model Zoe.
I talk you through every step we take to control and manage the light whilst capturing and comparing the shots as we go.
A third diffuser is also used in one of the shots - you will see how a more even light source can really help with reflective, glossy surfaces such as Zoe’s sunglasses.
We cover even more but you need to watch the video to learn more...
Enjoy the tutorial,
Karl
