Pope Francis receives the Peace Torch in Rome Oct 12, 2016

On October 12, 2016, 4 days after the finish of the 49 nation, 25,000 km, 8 month European Peace Run in Rome at the Colosseum we were truly blessed to be part of the Papal Audience at St. Peter’s Basilica. After the mass Pope Francis took a moment to bless the torch and receive gifts of artwork and messages from children around the world. We also presented some of Sri Chinmoy’s writings and artwork.
