Cleaner injured in blast at Turkish-owned entertainment venue in Germany

An explosion at the entrance of a building in Cologne, Germany, which houses an entertainment venue owned by a person of Turkish origin, has resulted in injuries to a cleaning worker. The blast, which occurred around 6:00 AM on Hohenzollernring Street, injured the building’s cleaning staff, who has been taken to hospital for treatment. Security camera footage from the building shows a person leaving a bag with a box at the entrance and then leaving, shortly before the explosion occurred.
