‍ — RAWAlerts: A University of Kentucky student pleads guilty after singing the N-word 200 times at an African-American staffer in 10-minute rant ️ Prosecutors have demanded a year in jail and 100 hours of community service for former Lexington University of Kentucky student Sophia Rosing, 23, who assaulted staff and police officers during a drunken tirade of racist abuse in November 2022. ️ Rosing called a young female desk clerk the N-word 200 times and continued yelling racial slurs, biting and kicking officers, and boasting about her ’wealth.’ ️ On Monday, she pleaded guilty to six counts, including four of assault, which were reduced to fourth-degree minor injury as part of a plea deal. ️ She now faces 12 months in jail and has been suspended from the University of Kentucky, permanently banned from campus, and lost her job and social media partnerships.
