1990 Bikini Contest in Cocoa Beach

This is a 1990 Bikini Contest held over the Easter weekend at the Canaveral Pier near Cocoa Beach. The annual Easter Surfing Festival is a four day event that features the Pro/Am surfing competition with lots of other activities happening throughout the holiday weekend. The bikini contest held preliminary contests each day so the hundred plus contestants could be whittled down with the best from each day qualifying for the finals on Sunday. This video shows the finals with the girls preparing backstage before the contest and then taking the stage to compete for first place and the cash and prize package that had attracted competitors from all over.
