Hiking Stone Mountain, North Carolina.

One of my favorite state parks in North Carolina is Stone Mountain State Park. It has a lot of hiking potential and I’m pretty sure that I’ve hiked all of the trails in the park. The signature peak in the park is, of course, Stone Mountain. Like Stone Mountain in Georgia, it is a granite pluton rising about 600 feet above the valley floor.
