Hanson sing Too Much Heaven a cappella at the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall with no microphones

5 March 2019, Sydney Opera House Concert Hall, String Theory Tour Gig 4/4 last night of my String Theory tour and lord were we spoiled rotten with this unique treat from the guys. Since the announcement of this milestone event for our little indie band we all hoped they would reenact their famous harmonic 1997 a cappella performance of ‘MMMBop’ under the natural acoustics of the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall architecture. I’d be surprised if they didn’t film exactly that for Members Only content later, but as the single only encore on this incredibly special world tour they instead performed my absolute favourite cover tribute they’ve ever done, ‘Too Much Heaven’ by the BeeGees.
