Ray also explains how he built his phenomenal power; at one point working up to a 905-pound squat. I have always thought of Ray as the “George Harrison” of high-intensity training; he never received as much publicity in the bodybuilding magazines as other high-intensity advocates, and yet he was a man with something to say. One of the greatest physiques of his era, Ray Mentzer was a man well worth listening to.
