Sun Dial and Astrology Sculpture 1598AD

This Sun Dial / Astrological Calender dates back to the early days of the Spanish conquest of Guadalajara. Located in The Museo Regional de Guadalajara (Regional Museum of Guadalajara) here is quick bit of information about the useful sculpture . What is interesting to is the fact that Astrology was a significant part of Christianity and was dropped along the way. I have seen caves in Mani, Greece that combined Jesus with an astrological Calendar. Remember before Star Trek this was advanced technology oh so many years ago.
