Unemployed college student returns to hometown to renovate dilapidated house left by grandpa

After graduating from college, I worked hard in other places for many years. I couldn’t find a job this year, so I decided to return to my hometown to renovate the old house left by my grandfather, hoping to live a pastoral life away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The house left behind by my grandfather is dilapidated, the yard is uneven, and water accumulates on rainy days. Because grandpa is a well-known good old man in the village, the children in the village also like to gather in grandpa’s small courtyard after school and listen to grandpa telling stories about those years. To outsiders, this old house looks dilapidated. This house contains memories and stories, as well as some of my grandfather’s living habits. I am afraid that these will no longer exist after the renovation.
