Pepe Deluxé - MaKing of CS: Fastfinger Salami Slicer

The “Electric Salami Slicer“ is a Deluxé prototype effects pedal, drawing inspiration from scratch DJs and our classic track “Salami Fever”. This innovative pedal not only slices and dices the audio signal but also enables rapid transitions between two volume levels - or even between the sound of one or two additional effects pedals, connected to ESS’s inserts. In this video, we put the prototype to the test alongside Mr. Fastfinger, and recorded it for Comix Sonix. While the ESS pedal is typically designed for foot operation by the player, I took on the “foot job“, allowing Mr. Fastfinger to focus solely on creating that delicious Sonic Salami.
