#SalamAfghanistan Mullah Yaqoob: Pakistan wants to show the world that we have no promises with baseless accusations. Taliban Defense Minister Mullah Yaqub Mujahid, in an interview with Al-Arabiya TV, accused Pakistan of trying to create distrust against their regime. He said: “Pakistan wants to show the world that we are breaking our promises with the baseless accusations of the presence of TTP in Afghanistan. Yaqub Mujahid claims that they fulfilled their promises to the international community and now the international community should act on their commitments and recognize them. He has especially requested help from Islamic countries and Saudi Arabia in this regard. Yaqub Mujahid emphasized that they will not accept what he termed as “foreign orders“ and will not include the tested figures in their government. Mullah Yaqub also denied the possibility of killing former President Ashraf Ghani while staying in Kabul and said that they treated Hamid Karzai, Abdullah Abdullah and many other former political figures well. Taliban officials make these statements while their critics blame them for their regime’s lack of interaction with the world and Afghans. According to critics, the Taliban have adopted harsh policies against women and non-Taliban people, which has encouraged people to distance themselves from them, and this distance is at the expense of Afghanistan.
