German naval minesweepers (not clear where they are - it may be in an estuary somewhere).

A mine floats close to the bow of the ship.
The men work with ropes. They are then shown working on a mine on board ship (they are hitting it with a hammer!). They attach something to the mine and then lower it back overboard.
Once the mine is a safe distance from the ship it explodes - they must have attached an explosive device to it. The explosion causes a plume of water to rise into the air.
