Once referred to as “The DJs DJ,” Ben Cromack has presented his highly improvisational, hands-on style of DJing to Australian audiences since the mid-90s. Hypnotic, futuristic soundscapes, percussive syncopated rhythms, Detroit-esque soul and jacking booty house funk are some of the flavours Ben weaves together, regularly whipping Melbourne dance floors into a frenzy of sweaty dancing bodies. From playing underground warehouse parties in Melbourne’s early rave scene to working in iconic record stores to gracing the console at many of the city’s most well-respected club nights and venues, Ben’s musical knowledge and experience shine through every time he plays.
