ASKA™ A5 flying car

Watch highlights from field and systems testing of a fully functional prototype of the ASKA™ A5 drive & fly eVTOL vehicle. ASKA™ A5 is a real flying car – an aerodynamic 4-seater Drive & Fly eVTOL designed for maximum safety standards and a 250-mile flight range. A5 is capable of both vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) and short takeoff and landing (STOL) to fly as an aircraft. It is the world’s first flying car to start the type certification process with the FAA. In July 2023 the A5 received Certificate of Authorization (COA) and Special Airworthiness Certification. ASKA signed a five-year Space Act Agreement with NASA in 2020 to participate in NASA’s Advanced Air Mobility National Campaign (AAM), jointly organized with the FAA.
