Gjogv & Elduvik: Beautiful Villages In The Faroe Islands

During our 7-day trip to the Faroe Islands, we visited many beautiful villages. But two on the Island of Eysturoy really stood out as the Most Beautiful Villages in the Faroe Islands and are well worth visiting or as we did staying in! We used Gjogv as our base for two days and we fell in love with this amazing village. Join us as continue our journey around the islands, this time crossing from Klaksvik on Bordoy to Gjogv on Eysturoy Island. We’ll show you some scenic hikes and other villages along the way including Elduvik which we also found to be so charming and quaint. There is the largest waterfall in the Faroes, Fossa Waterfall to see, also Risin og Kellingin sea stacks amongst a host of other places we go. And let’s not forget the incredible mountain pass drive to Gjogv over the Slættaratindur mountain. This video should give you lots of inspiration and tips for your visit to the wonderful Faroe Islands. If you missed part 1 or 2 then check out our playlist.
