The MTHFR mutation is one of the more fairly common gene mutations in humans that plays a vital role in the methylation cycle, which contributes to hundreds of biochemical processes in the body. We covered general information about the MTHFR mutation in a previous video, but this video specifically, will cover the link between MTHFR and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). If you watched the previous video already, you may know that low folate levels are common, methylated folate is important for the process of neurotransmitter synthesis, and MTHFR supplements that can help if you have this mutation. This video will be more relevant to ADHD: it will cover some general information (low folate symptoms, causes of inflammation in the body related to MTHFR, and how an MTHFR test and/or micronutrient testing may be helpful for you.
