UK synagogue attack update: Investigation into terrorist incident continues

We now know that at least two people have been killed following what is being called a ‘terrorist incident’ in the United Kingdom. Three others were also reportedly seriously wounded after a car ramming and stabbing attack outside a synagogue in northern England on the holiest day of the Jewish year. Police say the suspect involved in the attack was killed. Hal Kempfer joins LiveNOW’s Austin Westfall. He is a Retired Marine Intelligence Officer and National Security Analyst. “In response to today’s major incident in Crumpsall, a loud noise was heard at the scene as specialist resources gained entry to the suspect’s vehicle as a precaution,“ Greater Manchester Police said. “I’m appalled by the attack at a synagogue in Crumpsall,“ U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer said on social media. “The fact that this has taken place on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, makes it all the more horrific.
