Vic Meyers (1897-1991) was an American born drummer, bandleader and finally politician who recorded for Brunswick (Vocalion) and Columbia from 1923. He also led his own resident band at the Butler Hotel in Seattle, Washington from 1926 to 1928. In 1932, he entered political life as Lieutenant Governor of Washington State serving five terms and later as Secretary of State of Washington for three terms. It was once said that Vi
