GRISTLEIZER - a classic industrial soundmangler

A METSÄÄN build of this classic industrial music soundmangler. Here’s a text by the provider of the PCB: “The Gristleizer was designed by Roy Gwinn in the 70s and made famous by industrial music group Throbbing Gristle. This effect combines a tremolo with an oscillator-controlled filter. The controls allow considerable versatility, allowing you to achieve sounds from polite, smooth tremolo and auto-filter wah wah sounds, to industrial grinding distortion, ring modulation, and hard stuttering effects.“ 4 waveforms (ramp up, ramp down, triangle and square) are selected with the rotary switch in the top left corner. Next to it is the SPEED control with an orange indicator LED, next to the blue BYPASS indicator. Continuing to the right are the DEPTH, BIAS and GAIN control. A 2 position toggle switch selects either VCF (Voltage Controlled Filter) or VCA (Voltage Controlled Amplifier). And of course a stomp switch for TRUE BYPASS. #METSÄÄN #GRISTLEIZER #thismachinekillsfascists
