The controversial congresswoman, who was accused of vaping, singing, recording and “causing a disturbance” during the show, blamed her actions on anxiety and her ongoing divorce from her husband Jayson Boebert. In a video posted on her Twitter account on Friday, Boebert said she was “deeply sorry” for ruining the experience for other theatergoers and for disrespecting the cast and crew of the musical.
