Michael Franks: Hourglass

I’ve always found this song by Michael Franks a beautifully sensual composition, both because of the silky smoothness of the music (and his voice), and because of the deep tenderness and poetry of the lyrics, that speak of one true great love that knows no barriers throughout time.
