Kapıkaya Ancient City

Kapıkaya Ancient archaeological site in Pisidia. The actual name of the ancient city is unknown yet. Kapikaya ancient city location can be seen from Antalya - Isparta highway, there is an ancient city in between two hills. To reach Kapikaya is not easy. The location is indeed in between two hills. Kapikaya means rock door in English. (A modern, not historical name). There are some ruins of building, temple, arcosolium, and a bit further a huge cave with walnut tree inside! Not much relief remains as the weather, wind, snow, water, etc removed all the ancient relief. The water spring is not too far away from the ancient city too. The view from the top of Kapikaya is perfect !
