Anastasia Vyaltseva “Lastochka“/ Tribute to Lina Cavalieri

“Lastochka“ (“Swallow“) (is originally Neapolitan song which became popupar in Russian thanks to italian diva Lina Cavalieri. Before she made her dizzy career of opera’s singer, she had a great reputation as cafe-shantan singer and the first beauty in the world. Unfortunatelly she recorded only one neapolitan song “Maria Mari“, we can only imagine how she performed “Swallow“. So I hope that magnificant soprano of Anastasia Vyaltseva and images of Lina Cavalieri will help us in it. In this video are used sheet covers and postcards of Lina Cavalieri from my collection.
