Sinkhole swallows trees whole in Louisiana swamp

An underwater sinkhole has devoured a small grove of trees in a swamp in Louisiana, US. Emergency workers were filming on the scene when the activity began. As the waters swirled, the trees began to slip below the surface until they were completely consumed. The sinkhole is believed to have been created when an underground salt dome cavern collapsed earlier in the month. The hole is estimated to be 25 acres wide and 350 local residents have been asked to evacuate. Report by Sarah Johnston.
