Hemiglossectomy-1/

This video shows surgery called HEMI-GLOSSECTOMY or removal of half of the tongue, done for a moderately advanced (T2N1MO) Carcinoma (Cancer) of the Oral Tongue. The tumor was arising from the right lateral border of the tongue and encroaching the floor of mouth as well but the mandible or jaw bone was spared. The neck was also cleared of disease (Neck Dissection).
