Air travel is making a resurgence as COVID-19 pandemic measures are starting to ease. But, the comeback is also seeing a soaring number of unruly and even violent passengers back onboard.
Airlines in the United States have reported 3,000 incidents of unruly passengers in 2021—
much higher than usual.
